Be An Avid Food Label Reader

The simplest way to alter your diet and begin eating healthier is to start reading food labels. Many of the prepared or packaged foods we eat have undesirable foods or ingredients in them. To avoid undesirable items, you must become an avid “Food Label Reader”.
Each packaged or processed food must have a Nutrition Label on the packaging. Read before you buy or eat! If you want to be successful in reducing your body fat, educate yourself in what you’re placing into your body.
Look out for and avoid foods with high contents of salt, sodium, fats, sugars, MSG, High Fructose Corn Syrups, and Trans Fats. If you do, then you’ll be rewarded with a healthier diet and improved fat loss results.
Trans fats, MSG (mono-sodium glutamate), and High Fructose Corn Syrup are considered some of the worst offenders in our diet. Avoid these like the plague.
Also, determine how many calories and grams of protein, carbohydrates, and fat are contained in the food you’re considering. Prudent choices will result in healthier diets and leaner bodies.
